Mind-blowing revamp, super clean with exceptional linens, spacious room, great AC, excellent location.

I was amazed by the attention to detail and thoughtfulness of the Kern Riverview Inn. When I arrived, there were candles lit and a heart-shaped arrangement of York peppermint patties on the bed, creating a romantic atmosphere. They even had a bottle of champagne on ice and wine glasses ready for us. The staff truly went above and beyond to make our stay special.

Loved the amazing mountain views from my room and the free WiFi was a total lifesaver. The private parking was a nice bonus too, because who doesn't love a free parking spot?

Oh, and let's not forget the joy of trying to navigate Meadows Field Airport. Such an effortless and stress-free experience.

The location was excellent, right by a beautiful river promenade and a park with plenty of dining options nearby. The suite was cozy and well-decorated, with a separate bathroom and complimentary toiletries. The friendly welcome and the presence of a friendly dog added to the welcoming atmosphere. Free WiFi, parking right outside, and a garden with seating and a BBQ were also nice amenities.

The lack of proper lighting was a drawback, with only two bedside lamps and no central main light. the initial confusion upon arrival, due to poor communication and a lack of clear instructions, was a bit frustrating.

The Kern Riverview Inn was such a great value for the money! The room was cozy, the bed was super comfy, and it was well furnished. The location was perfect, right in front of the river/park and close to shops and dining. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed and even giving us a full-size coffee pot. Can't wait to stay here again in the future!

I had a fantastic stay, with breathtaking views of the mountains and the convenience of free WiFi and parking. I also enjoyed relaxing in the garden, a perfect spot to soak up the beauty of the surroundings.

My husband and I had the most amazing stay at Kern Riverview Inn. We were celebrating our 11th anniversary and I wanted to surprise him with a photo shoot. By far the best value and best hotel in the Kernville area. Beautiful rooms, perfect location, lovely outside porch, and wonderful service. Price, cleanliness, and staff are impressive. Went above and beyond to make our stay extra special for a surprise photo shoot. No comparison, the rest doesn't compare to this amazing place.

Mountain Views: I was left in awe by the breathtaking mountain views from the terrace of my suite. It felt as if I was gazing upon a majestic painting, with the peaks reaching for the sky and painting a perfect backdrop for my stay.

Thin Walls: Some nights, I could hear my neighbors chatting softly through the thin walls.

As longer term business travelers, we appreciated the spacious room with a fridge and coffee maker. the fireplace and electric heater made it feel cozy, and the overhead heater in the bathroom was a nice touch. the location was convenient, and we enjoyed the nice porch with a picnic table and grill. the staff was friendly and the check-in process was easy with a gate code. a great mix of Airbnb freedom with hotel amenities.

Felt very comfortable and had nothing to complain about.
